This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing digital content agency based in Leeds City

Centre where you will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for some of the

biggest sports and media brands in the world.

 

With new clients coming on board regularly, you would be joining the agency at a very

exciting time. It is an opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a close-knit

shaping the agency whilst gaining a huge amount of exposure to the likes of UEFA, Six

Nations, Super League, RFU, Wolves, Everton, Leeds United and many more. As an extra

Football to Netball and Rugby - the list keeps growing.

 

As an iOS Developer you will be part of the development team, creating unique solutions

and supporting varied sporting clients. Expect to be kept on your toes as the role will require

an individual who is able to able to work independently and is also able to communicate

effectively with the wider team in order to facilitate the integration of the app into an existing

web application.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

● Develop an iOS (primarily for phones) to a pre-agreed design

● Integrate the app with an existing web application

● Providing support across a number of client accounts

● Establishing and building relationships internally across client services, creative and

tech/support teams

 

Required Skills

● Can demonstrate having built one iOS app, as a hobby or as part of a degree

● Knowledge and experience with XCode and Swift

● Interacting with REST Web APIs (XML or Json) using a VCS like Git or SVN

● Strong knowledge of Software design patterns, data structures and best practices

● Experience in image and video manipulation is desired but not necessary.

● Excellent communication skills – understands the importance of positive client

relationships and demonstrates an engaging and open style of communication

● You’re a fabulous team player, but equally great at demonstrating initiative and

autonomy as required

● And most importantly, someone nice to have around that will roll up their sleeves with

a real can-do attitude and a willingness to get on with the job and make great things

happen

 

Required/Desired Knowledge & Experience

● Intelligent with a strong learning background. A relevant Software Engineering

degree is desired but not necessary.

● No work experience needed, just a CV and a will to get stuck in

● Works in a time efficient and organised manner, seeking to streamline processes

where appropriate as well as prioritise effectively

● Keeps abreast on new trends and technology

● Interest and passion for sport (although this is not a must have!)
